Nepotism is a major aspect of Bollywood and the way it operates, therefore star kids frequently make an effort to establish their value by stepping outside of the limelight cast by their well-known parents.
Star offspring have always drawn mixed feelings from Bollywood fans. Everyone hates them for their privilege, especially when it comes to pursuing a career in the film industry, but they love to be followed to see what they’re up to.

She discussed her time at an acting school in Los Angeles with The Week, admitting that while she relished her privacy there, the program didn’t teach her anything.

“I learned nothing there,” Janhvi remarked, acknowledging that the school was excellent but adding, “My main goal and the thrill in it for me was… to be in an environment where I wasn’t being identified as someone’s daughter for the first time.” And I guess what I clung to the most was the anonymity, which was wonderful.

Since she is portraying the stories of her people, not of them, the actress said, “I wish I could have used that time getting to know my people, my country, and my language a little better.” All I wish I had done was more of the things that helped me connect with my folks, which I did. After I started filming Dhadak, I completely changed my mind and realized that, while I was sitting in Los Angeles, going to Malibu on the weekends wasn’t going to satisfy my desire to tell stories about my country and get to know its people. I also wanted to be able to speak with them and think and feel like them. You simply become so jaded and disengaged from it.

She continued by saying that the school’s structure wasn’t set up to help her in India. “The structure of the school I attended there was deeply rooted in the workings of Hollywood, including the audition process and the experience of meeting casting agents,” the student remarked.
Jhanvi claimed that while attending a school founded on the idea of method acting, she realized that she wasn’t a method actor. She said that while she was in Los Angeles, she realized that spending time in India and learning about Indian culture and languages would have made greater use of her time.
